  • Owens threatened to sue the rapper

Cardi B and Candace Owens' Twitter fight is far from over. The 28-year-old rapper fired back at the conservative commentator's criticisms by posting a photo of former First Lady Melania Trump.

"I don't know why candy is so bothered by WAP.I was just inspired by our former First Lady," Cardi wrote in the caption. "Anyways [sic] congrats on your new show I hope you speak more about WAP I need it to reach a new Audience to go 6x platinum.Any exposure will help .Love you candy. STREAM UP."

Cardi also teased Owens by tweeting, "Matter fact I'm just going to thank Candy. She put my performance on Fox News giving it more views that boosted the views on YouTube and is [sic] counting towards my streams and sales. STREAM UP AND WAP," she tweeted. "REMEMBER GROWN PARENTS ONLY YOU CAN MONITOR WHAT YOUR KIDS WATCH NO1 ELSE."

Owens clarified that she doesn't work for Fox News and noted how men "typically" treat women.

"I take issue with you being used to encourage [sic] young women to strip themselves of dignity," she wrote. "Men typically treat women how they treat themselves."

Cardi responded with a naked picture of Melania and noted how she was a porn star.

"No! Candy, men treat women on how a woman allows a man to treat them," she tweeted. "I mean look at Melania she was a porn star however she didn't allowed [sic] Trump to treat her as so or shame her for her passed [sic] and made her into a First Lady & the mother of his child."

The tweets kept coming back and forth and went on for hours. Owens called out Cardi once again for her Grammy performance and noted, "Millions of young girls follow you. At your best, you are self-deprecating and humorous. At your worst, you are naked, shoving your vagina into another woman’s vagina while thrusting atop her."

In response, Cardi shared a couple of screenshots related to Owens' husband.

Owens immediately claimed that these are photoshopped images but Cardi kept insisting that these are available on public blogs.

Owens then called out Cardi for attempting to prove a photoshopped tweet and threatened to get lawyers involved.

Their feud began when Cardi tweeted a clip of Owens' March 16 Fox News appearance during which Owens proclaimed that Cardi's Grammy performance with Meghan Thee Stallion contributed to "a weakening of American society." In the caption, the rapper sarcastically celebrated their "WAP" performance making it to Fox News, Vulture said in a report.

Cardi B dropped her latest song "UP" on Feb. 5.
