Carrie Underwood has shared the first photos of her second child with husband Mike Fisher.

The country singer, 35, took to Instagram to share the happy news that their son, Jacob Bryan Fisher, arrived on Wednesday morning. One of the photos from the hospital room showed Underwood with a bare face smiling as she cradles her newborn son to her chest.

In her caption, Underwood wrote that their whole family "couldn't be happier" about the new addition to the brood and expressed her gratitude to God for their "little miracle."

"Our hearts are full, our eyes are tired and our lives are forever changed," she said.

Another snap showed the happy dad smiling at the camera as he holds a sleeping Jacob in his arms. The baby is wearing an adorable pink beanie and is swaddled up in a colorful baby blanket.

Older brother Isaiah also got the chance to bond with his new sibling. A third photo from Underwood's Instagram post shows their 3-year-old son holding the baby boy, who lays on a pillow over his lap. Fisher kneels right next to his two sons with a wide smile on his face as he gazes at his newborn.

Their baby boy's arrival comes just a few days after Underwood and Fisher also welcomed another addition to their growing family.

Last week, the former Nashville Predators player shared on his Instagram a photo of an adorable puppy they recently adopted. He wrote in the caption that Isaiah was the one who gave him his name, which is Zero. The puppy joins the couple's two other dogs, Penny and Ace.

"Meet the newest member of our family! Isaiah affectionately named him Zero. I guess it fits because it’s the chance of surviving if you try to break into our home #GSD," Fisher wrote.

Jacob is indeed a "little miracle." Underwood has suffered three miscarriages over the last two years before she was finally able to carry a second child to term.
