New Year's Eve 2015 is behind us, but one remnant of 2014 that remains is the slew of celebrity New Year's resolutions, revealed via Twitter, in interviews and elsewhere. The annual tradition is one way fans can get a chance to learn about the lives, concerns and goals of their favorite stars, all while offering the opportunity for a bit of schadenfreude if they prove to be just as hapless as mere mortals in sticking to their resolutions through the new year.

Here's a breakdown of what some stars of the screen, stadium and soundboard have said are their plans for 2015. Whether or not they will be able to make it through 365 days of their new plans is another story, but here's what some celebrities hope to achieve in the new year:

Dave Grohl: The former Nirvana member and Foo Fighters star told Entertainment Tonight that he hopes to get in shape this year. “I'd put fitness in there. Yeah, this is the year,” he said.

Rex Ryan: The former New York Jets head coach had a rough 2014. But he is looking to make a change this year, according to the New York Post's Page Six. “I’m trying not to cuss … as much. That’s it. I don’t cuss [in front of reporters]. I just cuss on the field sometimes,” he said.

Shanina Shaik: The Victoria's Secret model says that her New Year's resolution in 2015, like every year, “is just to remain myself, remain humble, work hard and just be happy and healthy,” according to the Daily Telegraph.

Elizabeth Hurley: The British actress known for her roles in films like “Austin Powers” is also hoping to maintain her fitness this year, according to Entertainment Tonight. “Every year, top of my list of new year's resolutions is eat more healthy, more exercise and go to bed early,” she said.

Amar'e Stoudemire: The New York Knicks forward said that he keeps resolutions throughout the whole year. “My resolutions start every day, not for the new year. It’s great to strive for something that can better yourself but a lot of times people make New Year’s resolutions and never follow through and it’s broken after a week or two,” he said, according to the New York Post.

Ryan Seacrest: The man made famous by “American Idol” told USA Today that he hopes to find love for himself and his pooch.“Next year I’m going to try to find my dog Ginger a soulmate. And I’ve got to find one for myself. There’s a lot of work I’ve got to do. I know because I’ve lived with me,” he said.

Kendra Wilkinson: The former Playboy Playmate tweeted last month about how she was starting her resolution early: “Starting my New Year resolution TODAY!!! I will have the body of my dreams by my 30th bday which is June 12th.”

Arianna Huffington: The media impresario told Business Insider her plans for 2015. “My resolution is to read more for pleasure,” she said. “I read so much each day, but that reading is almost always a means to an end -- work that must be done, emails and texts that must be replied to, books and articles that might inform my next blog post, and so on.”
