Several celebrities, including Miley Cyrus, Kristen Stewart and Tiger Woods, became the latest victims of a nude photo hack, reminiscent of "The Fappening" leaks of 2014.

The photos were leaked Monday by a website which became notorious for such leaks in the past.

The website allegedly posted a topless photo of Stewart, a compromising image of Cyrus and her ex-girlfriend Victoria’s Secret model Stella along with hacked images of Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn and her ex-boyfriend Tiger Woods.

While Cyrus and Stewart have not responded to the alleged leak, Vonn and Woods issued a statement to People magazine confirming the hack.

The duo confirmed the image, which showed the two naked, was taken before their 2015 split. Both Woods and Vonn threatened legal actions against the hackers.

"It is an outrageous and despicable invasion of privacy for anyone to steal and illegally publish private intimate photos," Vonn's representative said in a statement to People. "Lindsey will take all necessary and appropriate legal action to protect and enforce her rights and interests. She believes the individuals responsible for hacking her private photos as well as the websites that encourage this detestable conduct should be prosecuted to the fullest extent under the law."

TMZ reported Monday that Woods was working with his lawyer about plans to sue the website for illegally obtaining and leaking the images.

This is not the first such leak of the year, in April, nude photos of Amanda Seyfried, Emma Watson, Rose McGowan, figure skater Analeigh Tipton, model Dylan Penn, "Arrow" star Katie Cassidy and many others were leaked by the website as part of "Fappening 2.0."

The first instance of leaks which was reported on a larger scale occurred in 2014, and at the time the scandal was termed "The Fappening" — after a subreddit by the same name that was created for leaked nude images that were first posted on 4chan. A-list stars such as Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, Victoria Justice, Kim Kardashian and Ariana Grande were victims of the 2014 hack.

In April, Seyfried and Watson threatened legal action against the website for leaking their photos.

"It recently has come to our client's attention that, without the authorization of our client or the copyright holder, several very private photographs of Ms. Seyfried either in various states of nudity or intimate moments with her former boyfriend (the 'Seyfried Photographs') have been reproduced and posted," Seyfried's lawyer told TMZ at the time.

According to reports, hackers allegedly got the compromising images of the celebrities by hacking into their iCloud accounts.
