“Chasing Life” Season 2 will be all about living life to the fullest. According to the synopsis for the Season 2 premiere, April (Italia Ricci) is going to start living in the moment. However, some family drama could easily distract her from seizing the day.

April will make a new friend during her treatment. Vanessa will be played by Krysta Rodriguez, an actress who is battling breast cancer in real life, and she’ll try to help April enjoy life when the leading lady makes a sudden realization. “Always one to think two steps ahead, she decides to no longer plan for her future but just enjoy the moment she is in with a little help from fellow cancer patient Vanessa,” the synopsis teases.

Of course, April can’t stop planning everything. In the "Chasing Life" Season 2 finale, she got engaged to Leo (Scott Michael Foster). Her first step is to plan her engagement party. Though if she refuses to plan her future, we’re not quite sure how she’ll plan her wedding.

April’s decision to ignore the future might be changed after Natalie (Jessica Meraz) makes a discovery. April’s sister “stumbles upon a secret manuscript of her father's that could have major repercussions for the entire Carver family,” the premiere synopsis states. Did their father take even more secrets to the grave? It looks like this discovery won’t just affect April, but all of her relatives as well.

“Chasing Life” Season 2, episode 1, titled “A View from the Ledge,” premieres Monday, July 6, at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC Family. What do you think Natalie will discover? Share your theories in the comments section below!
