Lifetime’s spooks and scares from their “Fear the Cheer” event continues with the premiere of “Cheer Squad Secrets,” starring Margaret Anne Florence and Karis Cameron.

The film, the second new premiere of the event, shows what can happen when a mother may want the best for her daughter—but quickly learns other people won’t hesitate to stop her efforts in their tracks. Fans will likely recognize the mother/daughter duo in the film, as both have been part of Lifetime projects in the past. Florence previously starred in the 2018 film “A Sister’s Secret,” and was also a part of Netflix’s “The Irishman.” Meanwhile, Cameron starred in 2019’s “Identity Theft of a Cheerleader” and 2020’s “My Husband’s Deadly Past,” but also held the role of Kyler Norris in 2019’s “BH90210” reboot on FOX.

So how will Florence’s character learn a scary lesson? Let’s find out.

“Kelly (Florence) helps her daughter Amelie (Cameron) become captain of the cheerleading squad,” a synopsis for the film reads. “Only to discover that someone is giving her daughter mysterious supplements and will do anything, including murder, to cover it up.”

Will Kelly be able to figure out who is trying to take down her daughter before it’s too late?

The film, produced by Reel One Entertainment, airs Sunday, Oct. 4 at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
