The number of reasons they are reportedly ending their hit show have only increased, and extend from safety concerns, a desire to focus on their family, and alleged contract negotiation issues. No matter what the real reason is behind Chip and Joanna Gaines putting an end to "Fixer Upper" after season five however, the couple is beginning to look forward with their new ventures.

Amid reports which have claimed that the couple actually decided to end their HGTV series because they were tired of the less than desirable contracts they were being offered by their home network, and were setting their sites on a bigger and better deal with Discovery once Scripps, the parent for HGTV, was bought by Discovery Communications, the couple is looking forward to several other ventures that they are focusing on when it comes to their careers.

Among their new projects, which also include a cookbook and opening their first Magnolia Table restaurant this year, the couple has been gearing up for the highly anticipated launch of their new home collection at Target stores. Hearth and Hand with Magnolia will be available both in stores and online Nov. 5, and the official preview of the collection has already been released.

Those wishing to shop the collection will still need to wait until the official launch, but the 300+ pieces the couple designed with the retailer are already available to view on the store's website. Categories include pieces in home décor, kitchen and dining, holiday décor, holiday gifting, holiday stationary, and family sleepwear and pets. In addition, style tips from Joanna are also available for those who are hoping to emulate her designs in their own homes.

However, while their focus may temporarily be shifting elsewhere, it hasn’t stopped them from focusing on the upcoming final season of "Fixer Upper." In addition to sharing updates of some of the spaces they've created for the final episodes of the show, Joanna has also taken to Instagram to share a trip down memory lane with her husband and the rest of the crew, revisiting the first home they ever worked on for the show.

Despite deciding to end the show, it doesn't mean the couple isn't also looking towards the possibility of someday returning to television. In a new interview with People Magazine, Joanna admitted it was a possibility they would eventually return to TV screens,

"It isn't inconceivable," she said. "We're entrepreneurs at heart, so we'll always be looking forward to what's next. As it relates to TV, you just never know."

Chip echoed that sentiment, saying that if he found life without television cameras to be too boring, he would definitely consider stepping back into the television spotlight.

"I've always laughed about the concept of normal and I've never wanted to live anything that even resembled a normal life," he said. "So if we go back to normal and normal is no fun, well then I'll probably try to find me a television show and see if I get back on."
