Joanna and Chip Gaines may be ending their successful run of “Fixer Upper” after Season 5, but that isn’t stopping the HGTV stars from promoting the upcoming season of their hit renovation series.

Following rumors the couple was parting ways with the show in favor of a “better contact,” Joanna took to Instagram on Monday to gush about her and her husband’s program, which returns with new episodes in November. “About to do some fun stuff in this space,” Joanna captioned a shot of a room complete with an undecorated bookshelf, tree stumps, empty boxes and shiplap.

Fans immediately commented on the design, and the couple’s impending leave from TV. “Wondering what style will be in fashion next since you’re going off the air. Time for a new face in home decor,” one fan wrote. “Love your show your style sad is coming to an end wish I could afford for you to come redo my house,” posted another viewer.

Joanna’s post comes just hours after Page Six dropped a bombshell regarding the “real” reason the Gaines family is leaving “Fixer Upper.” According to the site, HGTV’s “horrible contracts” were to blame for the couple leaving the network.

“As Chip and Joanna grew more famous and popular over the years, the HGTV conceded to a few changes to their contract — like not taking a percentage of their Target collection — but they still wanted the Gaineses to shoot long days, promote the show and just work their butts off,” an unnamed source said.

With the show set to go off the air next year, the site added that Chip and Joanna have their sights set on landing a better, bigger deal with Discovery as opposed to HGTV, which is owned by Scripps and is in the process of being bought by Discovery Communications.

“The couple is betting on landing a bigger deal with Discovery,” reads the report. “Insiders say Chip and Joanna are betting that Discovery will make them a bigger deal once the sale is finalized.”

However, “Fixer Upper” fans shouldn’t get their hopes up. HGTV has denied the report, calling it “inflammatory information” and “inaccurate.” “Chip and Joanna have already shared with their fans why they made their decision and we support them,” the network said in a statement.

Meanwhile Chip and Joanna, who previously said leaving the show was due to their privacy concerns and a desire to spend more time with family, also shared a similar sentiment via their Magnolia Market director, Brock Murphy.

Murphy told Us Weekly that “Chip and Jo’s decision to leave Fixer Upper is truly just based on wanting to catch their breath for a minute” and “is not based on anything else people might read.”

“They were very open and honest about their reasoning behind this decision when they first shared the announcement,” Murphy said.

Chip and Joanna announced the end of “Fixer Upper” on their shared blog in September.

“We started out as business owners. Our beautiful business here in Waco needs our attention. We need to pour into that as much as we can. We are a family. Our beautiful children are growing up so quickly. Drake is almost a teenager,” Joanna wrote. “So I think the idea that we get to kind of step back and just get kind of fresh with vision, get some rest but also just hunker down with our kiddos. [This] is something we’re excited about but sad that this chapter in our lives is coming to an end.”
