  • Chrissy Teigen still wants to have more kids after her heartbreaking pregnancy loss last fall
  • The model and her husband John Legend are open to undergoing IVF or adopting
  • Teigen is also looking forward to growing old with Legend and spending the rest of her life with him

Chrissy Teigen has made it clear that she is not done having babies despite the heartbreaking pregnancy loss she experienced last fall.

The model-entrepreneur, 35, got candid about motherhood, among other things, in her interview for People’s The Beautiful issue. Teigen admitted that she still wants to expand her brood.

“I can’t imagine a life without [my children] – I just cannot…And I can’t imagine a life without more, honestly, so we’ll see!” John Legend’s wife said.

Teigen shared that she and her 42-year-old musician husband are open to doing IVF or adopting since they really want to have a big family. The two are already parents to 4-year-old daughter Luna and 2-year-old son Miles.

Part of the reason why she wants to have more children has to do with seeing Legend take care of their little ones. According to Teigen, it gives her so much joy just watching her husband with their kids.

“I thought I knew everything about John, and then [we] had children. Seeing him take care of them is beautiful. Seeing my partner be a father is really wonderful,” she said.

In early October, Teigen bravely opened up in an emotional essay for Medium about the devastation and sadness she and Legend felt after learning that they had lost their son, Jack, at 20 weeks of her pregnancy.

Teigen also took to Instagram at the time to share what had happened to her with her fans. She uploaded a series of black and white snaps taken from the hospital after the fetus was removed from her womb.

“We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before. We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough,” she captioned her post.

Jack was stillborn due to a partial placental abortion. To ensure that they will never forget their deceased son, the couple decided to pay tribute to him by planting a tree inside the new home they are building, Page Six has learned.

Teigen shared that they are putting Jack’s ashes in the soil where the tree is planted so that he could grow with the tree and its beautiful leaves and be with them always.

The Sports Illustrated model also disclosed in her recent interview that she can’t wait to grow old with the “All Of Me” crooner as she is looking forward to staying with him for the rest of their lives.

“I can't wait to see salt-and-pepper John and me next to him with my silver hair. I really look forward to our children being hopefully the type of kids that come over every weekend for Sunday dinner. That would be incredibly meaningful to me. I will be so happy seeing my family all around the same table,” she said.
