Cinemax’s martial arts drama, “Warrior,” airs its Season 1 finale on Friday, but there’s still much more of the 19th century-set series to come.

Instead of canceling the show, the network gave it an early Season 2 renewal, only a few episodes into the first season, in April.

A few weeks after renewing the series, Cinemax announced a few new cast members who would be joining for Season 2. Chen Tang (“Escape Plan 2: Hades”), Celine Buckens (“Free Rein”) and Miranda Raison (“Nightflyers”) are joining as series regulars, while Maria Elena Laas (“Vida”) is set to recur, according to Deadline.

Although pre-production on the new season started earlier this year, a Season 2 release date for the Cinemax series has yet to be announced.

Luckily, the already-renewed “Warrior” still has one more Season 1 episode left to air. Tonight’s finale (episode 10), titled “If You’re Going to Bow, Bow Low,” finds Ah Sahm (Andrew Koji) dismissing his warrior roots and retiring into the Chinese working class.

“A guilty Big Bill [Kieran Bew] stands vigil for Lee [Tom Weston-Jones] at the hospital. With the police roughing up tong members in retaliation for their violence, Zing [Dustin Nguyen] and the Fung Hai make a show of force to compel Mai Ling [Dianne Doan] to honor her partnership,” the synopsis shares of what else is to come in the episode. “Burned by Buckley [Langley Kirkwood], Leary [Dean Jagger] decides to take matters into his own hands at Mercer’s [Graham Hopkins] factory. Seeking to snap Ah Sahm out of his funk, Chao [Hoon Lee] shares a harrowing story of personal hardship. Ah Toy [Olivia Cheng] preaches a not-so-ancient message to Ah Sahm: In the middle of chaos lies opportunity.”

The Season 1 finale of “Warrior” airs on Cinemax on Friday at 10 p.m. EDT.
