‘Code Black’
How will Mario (Benjamin Hollingsworth) help Willis (Rob Lowe) in "Code Black" Season 2, episode 14? CBS

Mario (Benjamin Hollingsworth) will put his life at risk in “Code Black” Season 2, episode 14.

In the promo released by CBS for “Vertigo,” Mario decides to lend Willis (Rob Lowe) a helping hand and pulls a double shift. However, Willis’ mission involves saving two brothers who are trapped on a crane 300 feet above the ground. Mario reveals that he’s scared of heights, but even if this was the case, he feels the need to help his fellow doctor out. But just before he could save one of the brothers, Mario’s safety belt loosens and he falls. By the looks of it, Mario will still survive towards the end of the episode.

Elsewhere, Dr. Leanne Rorish (Marcia Gay Harden) will treat the wife of one of the orthopedists at Angels Memorial who has mysterious injuries all over her body. The head doctor would also have to figure out what happened to her patient before things could get worse.

Meanwhile, Harden previously spoke with TV Line to dish on the final two episodes of the hit CBS TV series. The actress revealed that there will be an outbreak of a viral disease that Dr. Leanne and the other residents at the hospital would have to stop. “The last two episodes are amazing. It’s a two-parter where we’re combatting a viral disease, and we have to go out into the city to figure out where it’s coming from, and Leanne is compromised, in many, many ways,” she said.

“Code Black” Season 2 will have a total of 16 episodes. This means that the two-parter will kick off on Wednesday, Feb. 1 with “The Devil’s Workshop,” and on Feb. 8 with “Fallen Angels.”

“Code Black” Season 2, episode 14 will air on CBS on Jan. 25 at 9 p.m. EST.
