Crunchyroll's Japan Expo 2022: Here's A List Of New Anime Titles

Crunchyroll unveiled a list of brand new titles at the Japan Expo 2022 on Sunday. The event began in Paris last Thursday.

The anime streamer announced "Don't Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro" will get a second season, while Season 2 of "Muv-Luv Alternative" anime will be out in October.

"Shangri-la Frontier"

The anime, which is scheduled to release next year, takes place in a future world where video games are played on display screens termed retro. Anything that can't match the VR technology is dumped in the category of crap game. "Shangri-la Frontier" tells the story of a crap-game hunter, named Rakuro Hizutome, according to the synopsis of the anime.

Rakuro chooses to tackle a game called Shangri-La Frontier, which is a god-tier game with 30 million players.

"Skip and Loafer"

Iwara Mitsumi is a child prodigy who graduated from a small middle school in the countryside and later entered a renowned high school in Tokyo.

She moves to a big city with a perfect plan. Despite being a smart girl, her social understanding is different from others. Iwara ends up making mistakes but her easy-going demeanor pushes her classmates away. However, they meet and gradually come to know each other in this high school comedy, according to Crunchyroll.

Crunchyroll did not reveal the release details of "Skip and Loafer."

"Don't Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro 2nd Attack"

The story follows a sadistic junior, Nagatoro, who torments the life of her "senpai," meaning "senior." Nagatoro is annoying, yet adorable. Despite being a pain, the titular character wants to be by her senior's side.

The second season of the anime is coming in January next year.

"Muv-Live Alternative" Season 2

It is a futuristic story involving humans battling against hostile alien invaders called BETA. The tale follows the life of brave fighters who work together to protect the world that is pushed to its limits.

The series is slated to release in October.
