They reaffirmed their love for one another and have expressed that despite their schemes against one another in the past, they intend to make their marriage work and be together. However, the arrival of Stefan’s mother—and her already committing a serious crime—could cause problems for him and Gabi instead on the Tuesday, Sept. 10 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

After learning his mother, Vivian (Robin Strasser) was, in fact, alive, Stefan (Brandon Barash) wasted no time getting her smuggled back into Salem, but also ordered her to stay in the room he got her at the Salem Inn so she would stay out of sight and out of trouble, since she can’t live at the DiMera Mansion while Kate (Lauren Koslow), the woman who killed her, is the CEO of the company. Naturally, Vivian couldn’t bring herself to accept Kate taking her son’s birthright from him on the NBC soap, and after tracking her enemy down at the park, things quickly took an unexpected turn as she got Kate to the cemetery, then shot her and buried her in a grave.

Now, following her confession to Stefan about what she did, it could lead to problems for him and Gabi (Camila Banus), since he will want to protect his mother, but his wife will think it’s too risky since he himself had only just beaten a murder charge after the real culprit was apprehended.

“Stefan is upset when Gabi wants to call the cops on Vivian,” spoilers reveal.

Disagreements could mean the pair quickly turn on one another again, which wouldn’t bode well for their marriage—or Gabi, who has been under attack since it was revealed she left Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) in the park when she had her heart attack.

Of course, even if the two are at odds about how to handle Vivian’s crime, it may quickly come to everyone’s attention that she wasn’t successful. Kate managed to survive the shooting and had started to claw her way out of her burial site—and it appears she will have some success getting to the hospital for treatment.

“Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) are shocked by a grisly arrival,” spoilers state.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
