He had helped him when it came to staging Holly’s presumed kidnapping and death, but after unintentionally crossing Kristen, Ted’s days could officially be numbered on the Friday, June 21 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

As he became determined to play the hero to Hope (Kristian Alfonso) on the NBC soap, Ted (Gilles Marini) wound up running afoul of the person who actually masterminded the plot to stage a kidnapping and death for Holly. After getting the autopsy report that proves the little girl was still alive, Ted went to Nicole (Arianne Zucker) with the news her little girl was alive. Unfortunately, what he didn’t know is that Nicole is really Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) in disguise, and she was the one who had been Xander’s (Paul Tefler) other partner. When he became suspicious over her lack of enthusiasm that her daughter was alive, she then knocked him out and has decided that he needs to disappear for good, since he is a huge risk to her scheme.

Of course, Kristen won’t do her dirty work for herself, meaning Xander will be the one who is forced to turn on his former partner.

“Kristen orders Xander to get rid of Ted,” spoilers reveal.

However, despite his usually devious ways, a different side of Xander has been emerging as of late. Not only has he bonded with Maggie (Suzanne Rogers), but he turned in Rolf’s (William Utay) diary, which ultimately wound up saving Will’s (Chandler Massey) life. He may agree to do as Kristen orders, but he could decide to take matters into his own hands instead.

Meanwhile, Hope has noticed that Ted has seemed to suddenly disappear, and she will begin a search to find him, unaware of what really happened to him and what he’s been secretly up to.

“Hope tries to track down a missing Ted,” spoilers state.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
