Camille Guaty is having a great time working on the set of “Daytime Divas.”

In a recent interview with Huffington Post, Guaty revealed that she’s enjoying filming the VH1 series so much that she’s hoping the show gets renewed for a second season. “I have had so much fun working on this project so I hope we come back for a Season 2,” the actress said.

“Daytime Divas” is doing pretty well in the ratings game. According to Business Insider, 1.5 million viewers tuned in for the show’s premiere on June 5 in live-plus-three ratings data. When it comes to female audience between ages 18 and 49, “Daytime Divas” was the no. 1 cable show in its time slot and the third-biggest scripted series launch of 2017 after FX series “Legion” and “Taboo.”

“Daytime Divas” currently averages a 0.46 rating among adults 18-49 and 1.08 million viewers. If the series continues to draw such figures in the remaining episodes of its freshman run, it’s likely that it will get a Season 2 renewal from VH1.

Guaty plays the role of Nina Sandoval in the series. Nina is a Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist and one of the co-hosts of “The Lunch Hour.” Although a gem in front of the camera, Nina will stand up for herself backstage even if it means fighting with the women she works with.

When asked how she got involved in the show, Guaty told Huffington Post: “The casting director on ‘Daytime Divas’ has been a huge supporter of mine for a long time. I don’t think I’d be a part of this without her!”

“Daytime Divas” Season 1, episode 5 airs tonight at 10 p.m. EDT on VH1. According to the synopsis for the episode, Maxine (Vanessa Williams) hires crisis management expert Isabel Carlisle (La La Anthony) when Nina’s baby daddy scandal ignites a media feeding frenzy. Also in tonight’s episode, Nina, Heather (Fiona Gubelmann) and Kibby (Chloe Bridges) are shocked when they find out that Maxine re-hires her former assistant Anna (Kristen Johnston) as a guest co-host on the talk show.
