The Emmy award-winning actress Debbi Morgan, 54 year-old, hasconfessed that she is diagnosed with Lyme disease on a recent Tom Joyner Morning Show.

She is best known for her role as Dr. Angie Hubbard on the ABC soapopera All My Children, and for her role as The Seer in the fourth and fifth seasons of Charmed.

She said Lyme disease is a chronic condition, and I've had it in mysystem for over 15 years.

Lyme disease is caused by the bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi and is transmitted to humans by the bite of an infected black-legged tick. The disease was first reported in the United States in the town of OldLyme, Connecticut, in 1975.

Morgan mentioned she's in healthy in spirit and will be comeback to her role on All My Children in the next few months.
