Tuesday night’s Mega Millions $176 million jackpot yielded no winners, but there was an instant millionaire of the night. One player won the Match 5, earning $1 million.

The winning Mega Millions numbers drawn on Tuesday, Nov. 17, were 8, 13, 35, 46, and 68, with the 3x Megaplier being 16. Watch the lottery numbers begin pulled below:

Tuesday’s unclaimed jackpot was worth $176 million with a cash option of $135.8 million. The jackpot will now go into the drawing on Friday, Nov. 20, which is now worth an estimated $188 million with a $145 million cash option. The drawing will be held Friday at 11 p.m. EDT.

While a $1 million winner was drawn in the lottery, other players won smaller prizes ranging from $10,000 to $2 in Tuesday night’s drawing. Twelve players matched four numbers and the Megaplier, winning $10,000 each, while over 294,000 people won $2 for having the Megaplier.

A total of five Mega Millions players have won jackpots in 2020. A winning ticket was sold in Wisconsin on Sept. 15 for $120 million ($95.4 million cash) while the summer yielded winners on June 9 in Arizona ($414 million or $319.9 million cash), July 24 in New Jersey ($123 million or $100.1 million cash), and July 31 in California ($22 million or $17.9 million cash). Another New Jersey player won $202 million ($142.6 million) in February.

Last year also produced some big winners as seven Mega Millions jackpots were won. In 2018, only five jackpot winners were awarded, and 2017 saw six big winners.

The Mega Millions lottery has prizes that start at $2, ranging up to the estimated jackpot prize. The lottery said there is a 1 in 24 chance of winning a prize.
