The Powerball has officially crossed the half-billion dollar mark after the Monday jackpot failed to produce any grand prize winners for the $485 million jackpot. However, several players claimed smaller monetary prizes, including some instant millionaires.

The winning lottery numbers drawn on Oct. 17 were 19, 30, 36, 46, 60, with a red Powerball of 25. The Power Play was 3X.

While there weren't any lucky winners for the jackpot, which had a cash value of $244.7 million, three players managed to become instant millionaires.

Players from Iowa and Wisconsin hit the Match 5 and won $1 million each. A player from Kentucky hit the Match 5 along with a Power Play purchase, putting their winnings for the night at $2 million.

Aside from the instant millionaires, others were lucky enough to snag notable wins. There were 15 players who matched four numbers plus the red Powerball, winning $50,000 apiece.

Four players hit the Match 4 plus the Powerball and the 3X Power Play, which increased their winnings to $150,000 each. Other players won prizes ranging between $4 to $300. A total of 590,044 players won prizes from the Monday lottery game.

Due to the lack of grand prize winners from the Powerball drawing, the jackpot has grown to $508 million with a cash value of $256.3 million. The next lottery drawing will take place on Wednesday night.

The latest jackpot comes after a player in Massachusetts claimed a $1 million prize. The ticket was purchased at Market Basket in Lowell for the Sept. 13 drawing.

The player plans to use the prize money to buy a house. The supermarket will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Powerball jackpot winners must match the six numbers on their ticket to the drawn six-number combination. Five numbers must be selected from 1 to 69 for the white balls, and a number is selected from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball.

There is a 1 in 292.2 million chance of winning the Powerball jackpot. Powerball drawings take place on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
