The Saturday night Powerball drawing did not yield a grand prize winner for the $274.8 million jackpot, with a cash value of $145.8 million.

The winning lottery numbers drawn on Saturday, Sept. 24, were 3, 9, 21, 24, and 29. The Powerball number was 14, with a Power Play 2X.

Since the latest jackpot has gone unclaimed, the next drawing will take place Monday night. The jackpot will grow to an estimated $285 million with a cash payout of $151.2 million.

Even though there wasn't a grand prize lottery winner for the Saturday drawing, seven players managed to become instant millionaires.

A player from Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, New Jersey, and two from California hit the Match 5 and won $1 million each.

Another player in Indiana hit the Match 5 with a Power Play purchase, which increased their winnings for the night to $2 million.

Along with the multiple millionaires, there were several smaller prizes. Twenty-eight players matched the four white ball numbers and the red Powerball, winning $50,000 apiece.

Meanwhile, 10 players hit the Match 4 and the red Powerball, winning $100,000 each due to a Power Play purchase.

The rest of the prizes from the night ranged between $4 and $200. A total of 615,087 players won prizes from the Saturday night drawing.

The latest drawing comes after a player from Missouri discovered she left a $50,000 winning ticket in her purse for over a month.

The woman purchased her ticket for the July 16 drawing at a Walmart in Manchester and placed it in her purse.

She quickly forgot about the ticket and discovered it when she went to check a different Powerball ticket. The woman plans to use the prize money to help pay off her student debt.

Powerball jackpot winners must match the six numbers on their ticket to the drawn six-number combination.

Five numbers must be selected from 1 to 69 for the white balls, and a number is selected from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball.

There is a 1 in 292.2 million chance of winning the Powerball jackpot. Powerball drawings take place on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
