'Digimon Adventure' Episode 48 Promo, Synopsis, Spoilers: Attack Of Mugendramon

Taichi and Wargreymon stand up against the dangerous Ultimate Digimon Mugendramon in "Digimon Adventure" Episode 48.

The official preview trailer for the episode is out, giving a glimpse of this ferocious Digimon. Do Taichi and Wargreymon have what it takes to fight Mugendramon?

Twitter user Wikimon shared the synopsis for "Digimon Adventure" Episode 48. Taichi and his friends reach FAGA. However, they end up encountering Mugendramon who absorbs Gomamon, Piyomon and Palmon's data.

Without any data, they cannot function and fight the Ultimate Digimon. Later, Metal Garurumon also loses his data to this enemy Digimon.

Meanwhile, Mugendramon is ready to fire its Mugen Cannon to kill the Chosen Ones and their partner Digimon. Taichi and Wargreymon take matters into their own hands and prepare to fight Mugendramon.

"Taichi and co. finally arrive at FAGA. However, who they encounter there is the ferocious Ultimate Digimon, Mugendramon. And the enemy absorbs Piyomon, Palmon, and Gomamon's data, leaving them unable to battle as a result. Meanwhile, they are contacted by Leomon, who is off in the distance traveling on El Doradimon as it accommodates refugee Digimon," read the synopsis for Episode 48.

"'Something unusual is happening! Cloud Continent is falling!' Eventually, even Metal Garurumon gets his data absorbed, and while he is rendered unable to fight, Mugendramon prepares to fire its powerful Mugen Cannon in an attempt to finish off the Children and their Digimon. In order to protect everyone, Taichi and War Greymon take a risk and charge into Mugendramon, but get caught in an explosion caused by it self-destructing," it added.
