“Divorce” Season 2 just cast “Ugly Betty” alum Becki Newton in a recurring role.

According to TV Line, the actress will be playing the role of a love interest for Thomas Haden Church’s character, Robert. Newton’s character is named Jackie, and she is a successful realtor. As of late, it is still unclear whether or not the actress will be part of all 10 episodes of the hit TV series.

Aside from Newton, Steven Pasquale has been cast to play the role of Andrew. The character is a good friend of Nick (Tracy Letts), and the former will be set up on a date with Frances (Sarah Jessica Parker). The two reportedly hit it off and decide to start a very casual relationship, according to Deadline.

This storyline is expected to be a good one for Frances since Season 1 ended with her bitter divorce from Robert. At the time, Frances brought up the idea of getting a divorce with her husband, but Robert was unsure if this was what he wanted. He later on discovered that Frances had an affair so he finally agreed to end their marriage. Now, Frances and Robert have new love interests, and it is highly possible that all four will eventually run into each other.

Meanwhile, Newton’s other acting credits include a role in “How I Met Your Mother,” “Love Bites,” “The Goodwin Games” and “Weird Loners.” Pasquale’s acting credits, on the other hand, include a role on “Bloodline” and Showtime’s “Billions.”

“Divorce” Season 2 is expected to premiere on HBO sometime in the fall.
