“Doctor Who” Season 8, Episode 2, “Into the Dalek” sees The Doctor facing off with his greatest enemy while a new wrinkle is added to Clara’s storyline. Based on clips released by BBC One, Danny Pink, a teacher at the same school where Clara is employed, will be introduced in “Into the Dalek.”

Based on the synopsis, The Doctor and Clara have to overcome an entire Dalek fleet. Certainly no easy task and an especially difficult one for a newly regenerated Doctor. In a short BBC One preview, The Doctor is introduced to a patient who is a broken-down Dalek. A second clip shows off a bit more of the interaction between The Doctor and the damaged Dalek who is asking for help.

Clara’s role is also emphasized in the new “Doctor Who” Season 8, Episode 2 preview clips. In the second “Into the Dalek” clip, we get an extended look at the scene where The Doctor asks Clara if he is a good man, a question neither can answer.

In the “Introduction to ‘Into the Dalek’” clip, “Doctor Who” showrunner Steven Moffat and Jenna Coleman discuss the episode and what this adventure means to The Doctor. “We go straight back into, kind of, classic ‘Doctor Who.’ Action, corridors, Daleks,” Coleman says. Moffat and Coleman both stress the danger The Doctor is facing in the episode.

The recurring character of Danny Pink will be introduced in “Into the Dalek” Played by Samuel Anderson, Pink is a teacher at Coal Hill School, alongside Clara, but Moffat has remained silent about his role in “Doctor Who” Season 8.
