A new season of “Sister Wives” will soon debut on TLC, but ahead of the latest episodes of the reality series, patriarch Kody Brown is facing accusations that he is picking favorites when it comes to his four wives.

While allegations that Kody has a favorite wife are nothing new, the latest claims come based on how the women in his life are living since the family moved to Flagstaff, Arizona, earlier this year. According to Radar Online, two of the wives have landed expensive properties and larger lot sizes—but the others seem to be getting a little less.

According to Radar, when the family first moved to Arizona, Janelle rented a 2,340 square foot property for $374,000. The property was rented on June 10 and set her back $2,900/month for 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Among the amenities are a fireplace and two walk-in closets. However, just a few days later, on June 14, Robyn managed to land a seven-bedroom, seven bathroom rental worth $1,225,589. That property also boasts three fireplaces, private balconies in every bedroom and a sand volleyball court. She pays $3,500/month for hers.

The difference in rentals seemed to suggest that Robyn is the favorite wife, something that has been indicated for years, but when it comes to property that’s been purchased, Radar suggests that Christine is actually a “favorite wife.” Not only is she the only one to have a home that’s been purchased so far, but when it comes to the property Kody purchased and split into four parcels, which they appear to be planning to build four homes on, Christine is the one with the most land.

Radar notes that the land is split into four different parcels. Parcels for Janelle and Robyn each cost $170,000 and are 2.42 acres, while Meri has a 4.48-acre parcel that cost $180,000. However, Christine has 5.16 acres, which cost $300,000.

Of course, while it would be easy to play up these differences and claim Kody is picking favorites among his wives, there are also more practical reasons for why certain wives, like Christine and Robyn, are getting larger properties.

Of the 18 Brown children, Christine and Robyn are the ones who still have more kids living at home. Meri has been an empty-nester for a few years already, since her daughter, Mariah, went off to college. Meanwhile, Janelle’s sons Logan, Hunter and Garrison have all left for college in the last few years, as has her daughter, Madison, who also got married. She currently only has one son, Gabriel, and one daughter, Savanah, who are still living at home.

However, while Christine’s daughters Aspyn and Mykelti are married, she still has at least three daughters at home with Gwendlyn, Ysabel and Truly. Her son, Paedon, could also still be at home depending on where he may be going to college. Similarly, Robyn’s sons, Dayton and Solomon, and daughters, Aurora, Breanna and Ariella, are all still at home. Because they both have more children still potentially living with them, larger properties may be more necessary.

“Sister Wives” returns January 20 on TLC.
