'Dragon Quest: The Adventure Of Dai' Episode 80 Spoilers, Preview, Release Date

After Hyunckel defeats Hym in a battle, they form a bond with each other. But soon Hyunckel finds himself in trouble again in "Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai" Episode 80. The new episode is titled "Checkmate."

Hyunckel is just not able to catch a breath. The official promo trailer of "Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai" Episode 80 confirms the arrival of King Maximum and an Orichalcum Army.

The chess army and Maximum go after the wounded Hyunckel and the hero comes under a heavy attack. Can Hym and Hyunckel overcome this dangerous situation?

In the previous episode, titled "The Silver-Haired Hym," the battle between Hym and Hyunckel got intense. Hyunckel struggled against his powerful opponent, who returned stronger than ever.

Hym challenged Hyunckel to try his Air Strike attack. Hyunckel noted that his opponent was not just a pawn anymore. He realized Hym cannot be defeated by his Bloody Scryde or Air Strike.

Hyunckel added that most of his attacks won't have an effect on him.

"Hym returns from hell stronger than ever. Hyunckel faces Hym using only his fists and Aura. Who will be the victor in the clash between fists of fortitude and implacability?" read the official synopsis of "Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai" Episode 79, according to Crunchyroll.

The cast of the anime includes Atsumi Tanezaki as Dai, Hiroyuki Yoshino as Killvearn, Kiyono Yasuno as Marin, Kazuhiro Yamaji as Matliff, Yuuki Kaji as Hyunckel, Yui Ishikawa as Amy, Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Popp, Tomokazu Seki as Hadlar, Tomoaki Maeno as Crocodine, Takaya Hashi as Vearn, Takehito Koyasu as Mystvearn, Takahiro Sakurai as Avan, Saori Hayami as Leona, Mikako Komatsu as Maam, Ai Furihata as Gome, Hiroki Touchi as Lon Beruk, Akira Ishida as Larhalt, Konomi Kohara as Merle, Mitsuo Iwata as Zaboera and Takahiro Sakurai as Avan.

The anime is based on the original story by Koji Inada and Riku Sanjo.

"Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai" Episode 80 will release coming Saturday. The episode will be out on Crunchyroll and Hulu. The new installments are streaming in Japanese with English subtitles.
