Brokeena and Popp have vanished in the Medroa reflected by Mystvearn and the heroes are cornered in "Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai" Episode 90. The new episode is titled "Myst and Kill."

The official preview trailer of Episode 90 teases that Hyunckel has figured out Mystvearn's secret. Meanwhile, Killvearn appears before Hyunckel can do something.

With Killvearn's arrival, Avan's defeat looks certain. As the heroes feel the heat, the centuries-old relationship between the two who bear Vearn's name surfaces.

Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai Episode 90 Preview

In the last episode, titled "The Secret Spell of Frozen Time," the Grand Master challenged Mystvearn to a duel.

Initially, Mystvearn looked unimpressed but he realized his opponent was great at what he does. Meanwhile, Popp, Crocodine and the rest of the gang were shocked to see the Grand Master's moves and compared them to attacks straight from a martial arts book.

As the Grand Master and Mystvearn continued to battle, Popp decided to unleash the Medroa spell. Maam asked Popp why he was casting two Crack spells.

Popp said there was a lot of pressure on him to win this fight. He was feeling dejected for not being able to move like he usually does.

However, Maam encouraged him and said he had come a long way. Moreover, he had gotten stronger.

The anime is based on the original story by Koji Inada and Riku Sanjo.
