Drake may be dropping clues about his highly-anticipated album "Views From The 6" on Instagram. It's not exactly clear when fans can expect the album, but the latest rumor suggests the project could be hitting shelves in a few short weeks.

It seems the speculation started after Drake posted several photos from his New Year's Eve party all captioned with the number 16.

Some of the rapper's fans believe the cryptic caption is simply referring to the new year – 2016 – while others are adamant that the caption is teasing a Jan. 16, 2016 release date. It's also rumored that the next episode of Drake's OVO Sound Radio show on Apple Music will air on Jan. 16.

“Drake keep putting ‘16’ on his recent photos. I wonder if he’s dropping his album on the 16th of this month,” one fan tweeted.

Drake hasn't confirmed the release date rumors, but according to The Fader he told fans during his party Thursday that "Views From The 6" would be "coming very soon."

It was also previously rumored that the album would drop Jan. 6, 2016 after Daily Rap posted a cryptic video on Twitter supposedly announcing the release date.

As previously reported, the 29-year-old rapper released a snippet of “Views From The 6” on Vine in November. It's believed that Drake will collaborate with Beyoncé, Willow Smith and Tinashe for a few songs, and will use his feud with Nicki Minaj's boyfriend Meek Mill as "fuel" for the album..

"Views From The 6" will follow Drake's last album "If You're Reading This It's Too Late" and his mixtape with Future, "What A Time To Be Alive."
