Epic Games Store has announced its latest free titles which are now available to download as well as what to expect next week.

Indie roguelike action platform game “20XX,” 3D first-person roguelike title “Barony,” and exploratory action-adventure game “ Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP” are free to download until Thursday, August 6 at 11:00 a.m. EST/8:00 a.m. PT notes Video Games Chronicle.

“20XX” was designed by Chris King, and developed by Batterystaple Games and Fire Hose Games when it was released in 2014. Developed and published by Turning Wheel LLC, “Barony” was first released in 2015. “ Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP” was developed by Superbrothers, Capybara Games, and Jim Guthrie and was first released for iOS devices in 2011.

These games will be followed by “Wilmot’s Warehouse” which will be free to download from August 6-13. “Wilmot’s Warehouse” was first released in 2019 and is a puzzle game about keeping a warehouse running in tip-top shape.

The Epic Games Store launched its free games promotion alongside the storefront in December 2018. This promotion is set to run throughout 2020 and Epic CEO Tim Sweeney has said that it has caused increases in sales for the developers who have participated in the scheme.

An achievements system has also been launched this week on the Epic Games Store although it is still in its early stages. This means certain games may begin to display achievements on the Epic Games Store as you unlock them.

The Epic Games Store is also currently running its summer sale, which features savings of up to 75% on selected titles until August 6.

Video Games Chronicle reports that according to the Epic Games Store development roadmap, features “coming next” include mod support for games, the introduction of an algorithmically driven trending category, and bundles that dynamically adjust their pricing based on whether players already own parts of the bundle.

Future developments include a gifting feature, an Android Store and support for additional currencies and payment methods.

Last month, Epic Games revealed that the Epic Games Store has over 61 million monthly active users on PC with an average concurrent player figure of 13 million, says TrueAchievements.
