Entrepreneurs are often some of the most admired people in modern society for their business acumen, brave professional choices, great ideas, and high energy.

But what makes them great business people can also leave their bodies and health in shambles. Long hours hunched over a desk, lack of time to exercise, and business trips filled with breakfast buffets, airplane meals, and client dinners can leave entrepreneurs suffering from physical burnout, affecting the mind and every facet of life.

That's where T3 Body comes in. The brainchild of former pro bodybuilder JC White, the coaching firm focuses on holistic fitness for entrepreneurs and business owners. The system has already improved the lives of hundreds of clients.

What White does encompasses far more than personal training that might yield a six-pack. Instead, T3 Body provides a complete mindset and fitness overhaul that can result in better energy levels, higher sex drive, optimal health, and slowing of the aging process.

His method incorporates bloodwork, biofeedback, and biomechanics to surmise what will work for each client.

White explained that the bloodwork reveals a client's nutritional needs — which can be met through diet and supplements — while biomechanics testing clarifies their body's history of injury, strength, mobility, and flexibility. During the program, biofeedback is tested weekly to assess progress. It also measures mood, energy level, appetite, digestion, and sex drive to ensure that the coaching is working.

"When people talk about fitness solutions, it's always vanity, it's about appearances. But for us at T3, it's a modality. It's an entire approach to life," said White.

Built for Business People

"Many of our clients are previous athletes who have focused the last few decades on their business and financial goals," said White. "In that process, they likely lost their body and health. We built this program to help them get it back using scientifically-backed methods that appeal to the kind of people who always ask how and why things work."

White pointed out that entrepreneurs and business people approach fitness differently than the rest of the population. "Discipline and perseverance are character traits they already have, we can use these to help them reach their goals. What we do is use science to deliver personalized biomechanics feedback to clients, design a program just for them, and encourage and monitor the progress," said White.

White decided to focus on entrepreneurs since he is one himself and saw a gap in the market for fitness designed for their lifestyles. "We target entrepreneurs and business professionals because they have a 'killer mentality' and always want to win," he said.

Among the lessons they teach clients are how testosterone levels are important for men's overall health, being efficient on a day-to-day basis when it comes to staying fit, developing an efficient training schedule to achieve comprehensive results, and that personalized workouts are the key to great results.

That's not to say that other programs don't have merit. "F45 is good for the general population. The same goes for Orange Theory, Crossfit, and any non-personalized programs," said White. "The problem is that they don't work for everyone. You can't slap a bandage on 100 people and expect it to solve the problem for all of them."

Bodybuilder Turned Business Builder

Before White became a fitness industry entrepreneur and influencer, he was the World Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation's youngest competitor ever at 22 years old. Over the next few years, he was named Santa Monica Trainer of the Year and won the coveted cover athlete spot for Men's Fitness. He appeared on the prestigious magazine's cover again in 2019.

However, he wasn't interested in physical fitness until a friend dragged him to the gym in college.

"I hated the gym so much at first. I didn't see the point of lifting weights. But, soon, the routine, consistency, and endorphins worked their magic on me, and you couldn't pull me away from my weights!" recalled White. "My life changed completely from that point. I was even skipping meals with friends and nights out to get in more gym time."

One of the things he loved best about working out was how it adjusted his mindset to a place of positivity where he could easily reach his goals.

"That's why I founded T3, to try and help others clear the blockages that keep them from optimal fitness, mental and physical health," explained White. "It's a mindset journey rather than a physical journey. I got into coaching to help people find accountability and success."

Reading White's inspiring story, one that melds healthy bodies with healthy business, reminds us that we should all make time to step away from our desks and embrace fitness.
