“The Flash” actor Keiynan Lonsdale revealed that he would like to play an evil version of Kid Flash.

In a recent interview with Decider, Lonsdale said he “would love to play a villain Wally West” on the CW series at some point in the future. “We haven’t seen Earth-2 Wally, so I really really really want to be evil, for like a whole season! That would be so much fun,” said the Australian actor. “I’ll definitely drop hints [with the showrunners].”

When asked if he would either go for a Joker type of villain or a Darth Vader type, Lonsdale said that “either of those types would be great” but it seems that he would prefer a more Reverse-Flash type of villain. “I really loved Reverse Flash from Season 1,” Lonsdale shared. “I just imagine that was so much fun for Tom [Cavanagh] to tap into and to be this character that is so evil and is plotting, and also have so much love for this person. It’s not so one-dimensional. I think that would be a really cool bad guy to portray.”

While it’s unclear whether or not Lonsdale will get to play an evil Kid Flash in the future, the “Divergent” star said that he is also “definitely” open to portraying other variations of Wally. “I was going to say rebellious Wally but we got that,” the actor said when asked what other versions of his character he would like to explore if given the chance. “I would love to see him, just to play around with any character is always fun. To see him in a whole different light, having gone through a whole different experience would be really fun. The possibilities are endless.”

Lonsdale’s Wally made his debut as the estranged drag-racer son of Joe (Jesse L. Martin), and the younger brother of Iris (Candice Patton) in Season 2, episode 9. He later became Kid Flash after Barry (Grant Gustin) created the “Flashpoint” timeline. Since then, Lonsdale has been playing a superhero — a job that can be very taxing.

“There are times when you’re like, ‘Yeah, my job is pretty easy.’ And then the next day or the next five seconds, you we’re just like [make a running gesture] for 30 minutes,” he shared during a recent interview with New York’s PIX11. “It can be very taxing but at the same time, working hard feels good.”

“The Flash” wrapped its Season 3 finale tonight. While The CW has yet to announce the exact premiere date for Season 4, the network’s schedule for the next TV season revealed that “The Flash” will return in the fall.
