“Legends of Tomorrow” star Victor Garber might appear in the musical crossover between “The Flash” and “Supergirl” at the end of the TV season.

During an interview at a party celebrating the 100th episode of CW’s “Arrow” last month, executive producer Greg Berlanti told Comicbook.com that he’d “be crazy not to” include Garber in the musical crossover.

“He’s got one of the best voices,” Berlanti said of Garber who plays Dr. Martin Stein in CW’s DC TV universe. “He actually sang for me at an event once, and if I ever get married, I’d have him sing at the wedding.”

Although Garber is currently a series regular on “Legends of Tomorrow,” the Emmy-nominated actor might have some time to shoot the musical. Season 2 of “Legends of Tomorrow” has only 13 episodes, and the show may already be done filming the whole installment by the time the crossover between “The Flash” and “Supergirl” starts filming.

Berlanti admitted at the EW PopFest last Saturday that he and his fellow executive producers “have just started” to think about the musical crossover because they had become really busy working on the four-way crossover between “Arrow,” “The Flash” “Supergirl” and “Legends of Tomorrow,” which is expected to air in November.

While details about the plot are very limited, Berlanti told IndieWire last September that the musical might feature some original songs.

“We’ll have to start talking about clearing music,” Berlanti said at the time. “I have a few ideas for tone and style in my head but we’re just starting to talk about what that can be. I do want to try and get an original piece of music written. As we make a deal on that we’ll probably make some announcements on the original songs.”

The musical crossover is expected to air sometime in spring 2017.
