Jesse Quick returns to Earth-1 in this week’s Season 4, episode 15 of “The Flash” to patch things up with her dad Harry.

In a recent interview with TVLine, guest star Violette Beane revealed that the strife between Jesse (Violett Beane) and Harry (Tom Cavanagh) is what brings the female speedster back to Earth-1.

“He sends her an Apology Cube,” Beane said of Harry who returned to Earth-1 at the beginning of the season after Jesse kicked him off of her team in Earth-2. “We’ve seen Jesse use the Break-up Cube [before], which is a way to not deal with complicated emotions. [This time Harry] sends an Apology Cube, but there’s nothing on it, so she comes to town like, ‘OK, what’s up?’”

As the father and daughter duo deals with Harry’s Apology Cube, a nuclear bomb suddenly goes off in downtown Central City, forcing her, Barry, and Jay Garrick (John Wesley Shipp) to enter Flashtime to figure out how to they could eliminate the threat.

“It’s essentially that we are running so quickly that everything else is standing still,” Beane said of what Flashtime is. “It’s less about ‘freezing time’ and more that our bodies and thoughts are moving so quickly that we’re able to essentially freeze time.”

While Beane wouldn’t say how the trio of speedsters would be able to save the people in Central City, the actress told TV Guide that they “try a bunch of different options like, ‘Oh we could run it out of the city,’ but then there’s not enough time to do that and there’s not enough time to take everyone in the city out of the city.”

But even though Jesse, Barry, and Jay are all on the same team, Beane said that there’s a little butting of heads between the speedsters. “Everyone thinks they know what’s right,” the 21-year-old actress teased.

As for how the drama between Jesse and Harry ends, Beane said that Jesse “leaves things with her father on more of a positive note than when she came.” “I do think she enjoyed it,” the actress said of her character’s visit to Earth-1. “But I mean, she’s got a whole other world to protect. She can’t leave them every time Central City needs her help.”

“The Flash” Season 4, episode 15, titled “Enter Flashtime,” airs on Tuesday, March 6 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
