"Game of Thrones" has quite the presence at San Diego Comic-Con 2014 and fans eagerly awaiting Friday's SDCC 2014 panel were not disappointed. With Season 5 reportedly shooting, the cast and crew looked ahead to the new season.

The "Game of Thrones" Comic-Con panel included Gwendoline Christie, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Natalie Dormer, Kit Harington, Rose Leslie, Rory McCann, Pedro Pascal, Sophie Turner, and Maisie Williams. Series creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss also participated in the panel moderated by Craig Ferguson. While "A Song of Ice and Fire" creator George R.R. Martin was not announced to appear at the panel, the author was a guest at other SDCC 2014 panels and it seemed unlikely he would miss HBO's panel.

The cast and creators shared their memories on "Game of Thrones" Season 4 and the many shocking deaths, including Joffrey, Ygritte, Oberyn Martell, Lysa Arryn, Shae and Tywin Lannister. The "Game of Thrones" Season 4 finale, "The Children" saw Tyrion Lannister heading to Pentos while Ayra was on a ship to Braavos. Stannis rode to the North and ended the Wildling attack and will join Jon Snow at Castle Black. Speaking about the fight between the Hound and Brienne, Rory McCann said a dog barked during the Hound's final scene, notes Winter Is Coming, while Gwendoline Christie said punching the Hound was the "Best moment of my life."

With fans eagerly awaiting any news from "Game of Thrones" Season 5, the SDCC 2014 panel was the best way to tease fans. Benioff and Weiss had previously mentioned the show would go to Dorne and there were rumored casting calls for House Martell.
