Sonny believes his marriage is over after Carly failed to show up for their date, but on the Monday, Feb. 7, episode of “General Hospital,” Nina will be there to comfort him.

In the promo video of the ABC soap opera, Nina (Cynthia Watros) tells Sonny (Maurice Benard) she wishes he was happy, and he asks if she would want that even if it meant their time together never happened. “GH” spoilers reveal that Nina is worried.

In the previous episode, Sonny planned a romantic night at the Haunted Star for himself and Carly (Laura Wright), but she never showed up. After Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) saw her father waiting for Carly, she called her stepmother to see if she planned to show up.

Since Carly was in the middle of a chat with Drew (Cameron Mathison), she cut her conversation with Kristina short, which lead the young woman to believe Carly had no plans to meet Sonny.

Kristina shared the news with Sonny, leaving him heartbroken. Later on, Kristina’s phone conversation about Sonny’s dilemma was overheard and shared with Nina.

The news will send Nina running to Sonny since she is aware he has not been taking his medication for his bipolar disorder. Nina will be able to provide Sonny with the comfort he has been longing for, but will the emotional moment push the two closer together?

Elsewhere in the ABC promo video, Carly asks for the whereabouts of someone at the hospital. “GH” spoilers reveal Carly rushes to General Hospital.

In the previous episode, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Mac (John J. York) were injured during Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) escape. Viewers are aware Dante was knocked out while Mac was shot.

Chances are Carly rushed over to check on Dante since he is Sonny’s son. During her conversation with Drew, Carly decided to meet Sonny at the Haunted Star to let him know they could work through their problems.

However, Dante’s injury will derail her plans to reassure Sonny they still have a future together. Will Sonny finally give up on saving his marriage to Carly?

Other “GH” spoilers reveal Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) call for help, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) await word, and Victor’s (Charles Shaughnessy) plan hits a snag.

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. ET on ABC.
