Sonny has been telling people it is only a matter of time before he and Carly get back together, but on the Thursday, Feb. 3 episode of “General Hospital,” his conversation with Phyllis may expose his secret.

In the ABC promo video, Sonny (Maurice Benard) tells Phyllis (Joyce Guy) about his plans to win Carly (Laura Wright) back. “GH” spoilers reveal Sonny goes to Charlie’s to see Phyllis.

Although Carly has consistently told Sonny she needs space, he continues to plan grand gestures to help her realize they belong together. “General Hospital” viewers are aware that he is off of his bipolar medication and isn’t thinking clearly.

Sonny previously told Carly that he wanted to recreate their wedding in Martinique. Although Carly agreed that it would have been the perfect plan, she revealed that it wouldn’t fix their problems.

Despite her pleas for Sonny to stop with the over-the-top surprises, he will head to Charlie’s to tell Phyllis about his plans to woo Carly. However, the conversation will leave Phyllis questioning how it will all work out considering the fragile state of his marriage with Carly.

Seeing as Phyllis has witnessed one of Sonny’s manic episodes when they were in Nixon Falls, will their chat make her realize that he is off of his medication?

Elsewhere in the promo video for the ABC soap opera, Peter (Wes Ramsey) tells Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) that no one will ever forget him. “GH” spoilers reveal Mac (John J. York) and Dante prepare to take Peter back to Pentonville.

Peter has finally been cleared by the hospital to return to his cell in Pentonville, but he won’t be going quietly. He lets Dante know that no matter where he is, everyone in Port Charles will remember him.

Is Peter planning to escape a big escape, or is he simply buying time before he has to return to prison?

Other “GH” spoilers tease Sam (Kelly Monaco) seeks out Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), Laura (Genie Francis) confronts Victor (Charles Shaughnessy), and Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) wonders about Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EST on ABC.
