  • "Genshin Impact" Update 1.5  stream was held by miHoYo over the weekend
  • The gaming studio released beautiful concept arts of Inazuma
  • MiHoYo has not yet announced the specific release date of Inazuma in "Genshin Impact"

One of the highly anticipated events in "Genshin Impact" is probably the launch of the Inazuma region. Fans have been talking about the location long before miHoYo officially announced it. Multiple reports reveal that the Chinese gaming studio had changed the original location of the region, with some leaks showing the map's unfinished designs.

The latest information about the Inazuma region comes from industry insider Lumie, who shared the details on Twitter. According to the leak, the location of the region in "Genshin Impact's" map has been "moved." Additionally, the building in Inazuma in the Closed Beta Test has been reportedly replaced with an island.

Apparently, the region is now located behind the Guyun Forest. Earlier leaks suggested that Inazuma is located on the other side of the ocean. Rumors about the region's location in the game's map stemmed from the in-game statement of an Inazuma native who escaped from the place.

The image shows a region shaped like a crescent moon. It features small islands around it. There are also other leaked images of Inazuma at its early stages of development. The insider shared a screenshot of what seems like a long and winding staircase.

The staircase's design appears like it is inspired by the Yamadera in Japan, which features more than 1000 steps. During the recent "Genshin Impact" Update 1.5 stream, miHoYo shared some concept arts of the upcoming region to give fans the idea of what to look forward to. Interestingly, the leaked images match some of the concept arts from miHoYo.

Inazuma is based in Japan and some of the concept arts feature the country's iconic cherry blossoms and trees. The location is all about the Electro element, which explains why many buildings and designs in the region have purple hues--the element's color. The region, one of the seven nations in Teyvat in "Genshin Impact," is run by the Electro Archon Baal.

Inazuma would be the third nation introduced in the game, following Mondstadt and Liyue. Based on leaked images and concept arts, the upcoming region is a beautiful island nation for travelers to explore.

The launch of Inazuma in "Genshin Impact" will mark the beginning of Act 2 of the game's main storyline. Chinese gaming studio miHoYo is anticipated to reveal the game's roadmap very soon. Inazuma is expected to launch in "Genshin Impact" Update 1.6.
