“Girl Meets World” is continuing to grow its cast. The upcoming Disney series may not be scheduled to premiere until 2014, but fans of the “Boy Meets World” spin-off can meet the latest additions – Peyton Meyer and August Maturo.

According to TV Line, Peyton Meyer will be playing Tristan Friar, a classmate who Riley Matthews (Rowan Blanchard) has a crush on. A character description of Tristan posted by Entertainment Weekly in late January describes the character as an Austin, Texas transplant who’s “a cowboy in the city.”

“He seems actually possessed of ethics, common sense and a value system making him immediately alien to everybody else except Riley, who believes it’s the value system that attracts her to want to be his friend even though he’s too good for her to look at,” teases the description.

Meyer’s character may appear to be just a friend and little crush for Riley, but as dedicated “Boy Meets World” viewers know, a school crush can turn into your soul mate and future spouse. And if you want to dig deep into the character names, then the series kind of hints at something more down the line for the two -- much like Riley’s parents, Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel):

- Riley/ Cory -- Both leads in the series have their names end in "y."

- Tristan/ Topanga -- Both names start with a "T."

- Friar/ Lawrence -- If you put Tristan's last name (Friar) next to Topanga's last name (Lawrence) it becomes: Friar Lawrence. In Shakespeare's "Romeo And Juliet" Friar Laurence is the monk who advices Romeo and Juliet with their love.

Those three clues hint towards them obviously being soul mates ... righ? It may be a stretch but we’re rolling with it for now.

Besides Peyton Meyer, “Girl Meets World” has also August Maturo. TV Line reports that the former “Weeds” and “How I Met Your Mother” guest star will be playing Louis, the youngest child of Cory and Topanga. Maturo will be joining Teo Halm, who was cast as Elliot Matthews, the eldest son of Cory and Topanga.

“Girl Meets World” will follow Riley as she makes her way through the seventh grade in middle school – where her dad works as a teacher. You can catch the “Boy Meets World” spin-off when it premieres on the Disney channel in 2014.
