The Golden Globes are a night to celebrate all the best TV shows, movies and performances from stars throughout the year, but it was the jokes at the expense of Donald Trump that really stole the show.

Host Jimmy Fallon kicked off the event Sunday night with a few digs at the incoming president, comparing him to one of the most notorious “Game of Thrones” villains. The show’s host wasn’t the only one who chose to take a few shots at Trump during the 74th annual show. Hugh Laurie and Meryl Streep also used the Golden Globes stage to air out their grievances with the controversial President-elect.

Here are the best digs at Donald Trump from the 2017 Golden Globes:

  • “One of the few places left where America still honors the popular vote.” - Fallon in his opening monologue.
  • “What would it have been life if Joffrey would’ve lived? Well, in 12 days we’re gonna find out.” - Fallon.
  • “I’ll be able to say I won this at the last-ever Golden Globes. I don’t mean to be gloomy, it’s just that it has the words ‘Hollywood,’ ‘Foreign, and ‘Press’ in the title.” - Laurie
  • “It kind of broke my heart when I saw it and I still can’t get it out of my head because it wasn’t in a movie, it was in real life. That instinct to humiliate when it’s modeled by someone in a public platform, it filters down into everyone’s life because it gives permission for others to do the same.” - Streep
  • “Hollywood is crawling with outsiders and foreigners, and if we kick ‘em all out, you’ll have nothing to watch but football or mixed martial arts, which are not the arts.” -Streep

The President-elect responded to Streep’s criticism, but remained silent on the various other comments made about him during the 2017 Golden Globes. In a tweet sent out early Monday morning, the former reality star called the award-winning actress “overrated” and refuted her claims that he mocked a disabled reporter.
