Fans of "The Real Housewives Of Atlanta" know that the last season of the show was a rollercoaster ride for NeNe Leakes and her husband, Gregg.

Like all couples, NeNe and Gregg had their fair share of marital woes, but unlike other couples, they faced them in front of the camera all while Gregg was battling cancer.

NeNe recalled during a Season 11 confessional that it was on "Cinco De Mayo" (May 5) when the 63-year-old was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer after experiencing pain so uncomfortable that he went to the hospital.

These tough times didn't last though, because a year later Gregg was officially at cancer-free status.

"Look at God! We are over joyed to say, we saw the doctors for the results of Gregg’s Pet Scan he took last week," the "RHOA" vet shared to Instagram. "Test show, wait for It.....WE ARE CANCER FREE!!!"

Even after tests revealed the exciting news, there's always still a chance that cancer could come back. So how's Gregg doing today?

He's still cancer-free and actually underwent the last surgery for this health journey in June.

When the businessman attended "The Wendy Williams Show" on Tuesday in support of NeNe, host, Wendy Williams complimented and congratulated him.

"You look great," she said. "You look wonderful, and congratulations on being cancer-free."
