Halt and Catch Fire
Things will be tense for Cameron (Mackenzie Davis, left) and Donna (Kerry Bishé, right) in episode 4 of "Halt and Catch Fire" Season 2. AMC

Cameron (Mackenzie Davis), Donna (Kerry Bishé) and Mutiny faced their biggest problem yet in episode 3 of “Halt and Catch Fire” Season 2. In addition to destroying much of their work, Gordon’s (Scoot McNairy) Sonaris program caused a major rift between the company’s leading ladies – not that their relationship was all that healthy in the first place. Will they be able to pick up the pieces in episode 4, "Play with Friends"?

According to the synopsis for the new episode, tensions will still be running pretty high at Mutiny as Cameron and Donna deal with the fallout from the Sonaris disaster. Cameron admittedly blames Donna for the crisis, making it difficult for the pair to work together. Will their relationship get worse before it gets better?

A sneak peek video from the episode reveals that the duo may have another reason to fret – money. In the preview, Cameron and Donna explain to their employees that they cannot currently pay their salaries, instead offering them stock options in the company.

Meanwhile, the episode description also teases another new partnership, one featuring the men of “Halt and Catch Fire.” Joe had some realization at the end of episode 3 about how West Group’s computer systems could be repurposed in the company’s off hours. For his new vision, he will once again tap Gordon Clark for some help with the leg work. Can the duo work better together this time around?

Will Donna and Cameron be able to put aside their differences? Will Gordon and Joe’s reunited partnership be successful? Fans will have to wait to find out. “Halt and Catch Fire” airs Sundays at 10 p.m. EDT on AMC.
