On Thursday, Sept. 29, actress and chef Haylie Duff hosted a fun "Sandwich Soiree"at Au Fudge in West Hollywood.

Hailey arrived with her adorable daughter Ryan and mother Susan Colleen Duff. The kid friendly event featured interactive DIY stations including custom lunch box craft stations, an over-the-top photobooth and a lush farmer's market filled to the brim with organic produce.

Children also got the chance to build their own sandwiches with Applegate's organic, antibiotic-free turkey, ham, and roast beef all cut into cute heart, star and animal shapes.

Haylie debuted her signature Turkey, Pear, Arugula Sandwich with Blueberry Mayo at the soiree before jumping into the photobooth with a friend to pose for silly photos. Guests dined on mac and cheese, bacon brownies, Applegate turkey and vegetable kabobs, pigs in a blanket, and Applegate turkey, avocado, cucumber and carrot sushi.

Applegate Turkey

Blueberry Mayo

1 bartlett pear

1 c. Arugula

2 slices White Cheddar

Two slices grainy bread

Caramelized onions

Blueberry Mayo:

1 c. mayo (can sub Greek yogurt)

3/4 c. Fresh Organic blueberries

2 tbsp lemon zest

2 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp honey

Pinch of kosher salt

Gently smash blueberries and simmer all ingredients (minus mayo!) on med/low heat for 6-8 minutes. Let cool then stir in to a separate bowl with mayo.

Caramelized onions:

1 yellow onion

2 tbsp olive oil

Slice 1 yellow onion and sauté on low heat with 2 tbsp of olive oil.

Simmer for 45 mins, tossing regularly.

Layer blueberry mayo, Applegate turkey, white cheddar, arugula, Bartlett pear & Caramelized onions on two pieces of grainy bread of your choice.
