It’s November and you know what that means? The spirit of Christmas has officially begun. HGTV is kicking off its 2019 holiday season with a new special called “Outrageous Holiday Houses” premiering on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, at 11 p.m. EST. Lance Bass, a former member of *NSYNC, will host the show.

“Outrageous Holiday Houses” will show viewers “a whirlwind coast-to-coast tour of North America’s most spectacular holiday displays,” HGTV said in a press release.

Bass can’t seem to hold back his enthusiasm for the upcoming show. “HGTV is stepping into Christmas with some of the most outrageous displays you’ve ever seen,” Bass said in the official statement. “We’re going to meet the most dedicated and obsessed Christmas fans around. As a huge Christmas fan, I am excited to host this show!”

Drew Scott of HGTV’s “Property Brothers: Forever Home” and his wife Linda Phan will open the show by transforming “their historic home into a whimsical gingerbread house bakery just in time to welcome family for the holidays,” according to the official announcement.

HGTV president Jane Latman promised the special will feature "the most incredible, over-the-top holiday displays." Some of the places and sights the show is taking viewers include Dallas, a dairy farm in Bernville, Pennsylvania, a custom-built Santa train in Pheonix, a three-story display in Alexandria, Virginia, and all the way to an elf’s playground in Toronto, Canada.

This fun and festive show is being produced by Scott Brothers Entertainment, with Jonathan and Drew Scott taking on the role of executive producers.
