A verified political Twitter account is under fire after it compared the idea of a COVID-19 vaccine passport to the yellow star that Jews were forced to wear during the Holocaust in World War II.

Talks about developing some sort of a COVID-19 vaccine passport have been under discussion by the Biden Administration so those who are vaccinated can quickly prove their status if trying to go on a cruise, flight or just entering an establishment. While some have shared their concerns with this, the Libertarian Party of Kentucky has shared its controversial opinion.

Many took offense to the page’s comment and explained how the Holocaust is neither a joke, nor something that can be comparable to carrying around proof of vaccination.

Actor Seth Rogen, who is Jewish, even responded to the tweet with explicit language to get across his anger.

“[EXPLICIT] right off with this [EXPLICT],” he said.

The Libertarian Party of Kentucky has retweeted and praised others that agree with its comparison, which has been very few and far between.

“LP National is pressuring LP KY to delete this. The first time in history they get attention for defending freedom in the most dystopic year in our lifetimes. We are trending because we FINALLY SAID SOMETHING REAL ABOUT IT. Do not delete this. This is the takeover. Embrace it,” one Twitter account stated.

“The butt hurt is strong this morning. Libertarians is trending because @lpky said the quiet part out loud and the NPC brains are short circuiting. #VaccinePassports are authoritarian [EXPLICIT]. We refuse to be tagged and tracked like cattle! Clutch your pearls harder statists,” another replied.
