Eimi and Shiori prepare for their Ice Pillars Break match in "The Honor at Magic High School" Episode 9. The new episode is titled "Because You Were By My Side."

The official website has released the synopsis for Episode 9 teasing the upcoming battles in the Nine Schools Competition.

In "The Honor at Magic High School" Episode 9, the match between Eimi and Shiori begins. Eimi wants to reach for the highest rank and defeat Shiori's icicles using the same tactics she used during the qualifying round.

Shiori is extra cautious and will take measures to counter Eimi's moves. Moreover, in the new episode, Shiori will gradually corner Eimi.

Elsewhere, Honoka is in the finals and will use her light magic to clear the old-fashioned magic traps set by the opponent.

In the last episode, Airi shone during the second day of the Rookie Events. She used her lightning-fast movement spells to rule the Cloudball competition.

Shiori bounced back in the tournament after defeating her opponent in the Ice Pillars Break match.
