Melania Trump always considers her son Barron when making a decision.

It’s not a secret that Melania is a hands-on mom to her son with President Donald Trump, Barron. In fact, Melania prioritized her son over politics by opting to stay at home with him instead of joining her husband on his campaign.

Kate Bennett wrote in her book, “Free, Melania: The Unauthorized Biography,” that Melania had Barron in mind when it came to deciding to stay off the social radar and to refuse to move into the White House.

“Barron soon became Melania’s reason for staying off the social radar in New York, then her reason for avoiding her husband’s presidential campaign, and ultimately, her reason for not moving into the White House after she became first lady of the United States,” Bennett wrote.

“And even when she does eventually move to D.C., he is her reason for adopting a light work schedule and generally refraining from trips that take longer than one day, so she can be home when Barron gets back from after-school soccer practice,” she added.

Melania is very hands-on when it comes to raising Barron. In fact, even if he had a nanny, the first lady was still the one who fed him and changed his diaper when he was a baby. Melania also took the time to play with him.

On the other hand, Trump is the opposite. The POTUS confessed even before he and Melania welcomed Barron that he would not be a hands-on parent. In an interview with Larry King in 2005, Donald said that he would not be making his baby’s food or change his diapers.

Donald’s first wife, Ivana Trump confessed that he was a “loving father.” Donald was also a good provider, but he was not very involved in raising their three children Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric.

Ivana explained that Donald was not the type of father who would take a stroll with his kids and go to Central Park or go play baseball with them. In fact, it was only until they were about 18 years old when communicated with them because it was the only time that he could discuss business with them.
