Prince William and Prince Harry stopped talking to each other at one point during their huge falling out. But they rekindled their relationship following a poignant occasion.

While speaking with Entertainment Tonight, royal author Katie Nicholl said that she was told by a very senior royal source that the siblings stopped talking to each other before Prince Harry wed Meghan Markle.

“I certainly think that now Archie is here that it has probably really helped to improve the relationship. William is over the moon that his brother is a dad,” Nicholl said.

During an interview with TLC, Nicholl claimed that Prince William and Prince Harry’s falling out started after the former told his younger brother about his concerns regarding his relationship with the “Suits” alum. Prince William felt that Prince Harry rushed into marrying Markle, who he had only dated for over a year.

“William was quite concerned that the relationship had moved so quickly. And being close to Harry, you know, probably the only person close enough to say to Harry, ‘this seems to be moving quickly, are you sure?’… And I think what was meant as well-intended brotherly advice just riled Harry,” she said.

Nicholl also said that Kate Middleton tried to make herself available to Markle by offering to give her advice on motherhood. At one point, the mom of three told the former actress that she was there for her.

Meanwhile, it has been revealed that Prince William wasn’t the only person that became concerned about Prince Harry and Markle’s relationship. Prince Philip also told his grandson that he shouldn’t marry an actress. The Duke of Edinburgh said that he could step out with an actress but he’s not supposed to marry her.

But despite all the warnings he received, Prince Harry pushed through with marrying Markle. The couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary on May 19. They also welcomed their son on May 6.
