Ed Sheeran has a better way of spending his multi-million earnings. Rather than buying several luxurious mansions in different places like other celebs, the English singer chose to expand his estate.

Looking from the aerial view —thanks to Google Maps— Sheeran’s multi-million estate looked like a real, live version of “Sims City.” Called the Sheeran-ville, the “Shape of You” singer’s estate is actually composed of several properties.

Located in Framlingham, Suffolk, Sheeran’s village reportedly has a modern detached farmhouse, Grade II listed farmhouse, a four-bedroom home, a bungalow area, a pub, a tree house, a modernized extension, a four-space garage, an outdoor kitchen and a wildlife pond, the Sun reported.

Sheeran reportedly bought the farmhouse in 2012 for £895,000. In the same year, he purchased the Grade II farmhouse next door for £450,000. In 2016, he got the detached house for £925,000 and a year after, he bought an area where his bungalow sits for £525,000, Metro reported.

Sheeran renovated the property and reportedly added a hot tub as well as indoor swimming pool. Additional amenities such as underground cinema and music studio connected to the main house via an underground tunnel are currently in the works.

The problem was a lot of Sheeran’s neighbors reportedly complained about the noise while the construction is on-going. The residents reportedly objected to the “Perfect” singer’s plan of adding the tree house and chapel within the grounds of his estate.

The same news outlet, Metro, also reported that Sheeran’s neighbors complained about the gated pool. The complaints against Sheeran have been an ongoing issue since the planning applications. Nevertheless, the “I Don’t Care” singer just went with the estate’s construction.

Sheeran’s detached farmhouse reportedly has a billiard room, man-cave with billiards room, jacuzzi and a recording studio. Meanwhile, his pub has a wide array of choices for beers. Sheeran obtained a permit for this pub and he was, reportedly, allowed under the condition that he should use bricks and tiles.

Sheeran’s estate reportedly also has a gym, indoor pool and outdoor seating. The wildlife pond was an issue too because of the complaints, resulting in formal action being carried out by the complainants. Lucky for Sheeran, the decision went in his favor. He gets to keep the pond but there was an order from the council to eradicate the nearby wooden caravan.

Some residents reportedly described Sheeran as a down-to-earth guy. There were claims that the “Thinking Out Loud” singer had plans on establishing roots there with his wife, Cherry Seaborn.
