  • Ivanka Trump shared a throwback photo of her and Tiffany when her sister celebrated her 27th birthday
  • However, she tagged a blank account instead of Tiffany's real Twitter page
  • Ivanka was called out on Twitter over her blunder and choice of photo

Ivanka Trump sent sister Tiffany Trump a sweet birthday greeting on social media this week but accidentally tagged the wrong account in her post.

Ivanka paid tribute to her younger sister when Tiffany celebrated her 27th birthday on Tuesday by sharing a throwback photo of them on Twitter.

"Happy birthday @tiffanytrump! Hope this year marks your best turn yet around the sun! Love you so much!" Ivanka wrote in the tweet, adding a heart.

Unfortunately, Ivanka had tagged @TiffanyTrump, which is not a real account but a blank one created in May 2010 that has 717 followers. Her sister's Twitter page is @TiffanyATrump, where she has over 800,000 followers.

Despite the mishap, Tiffany still saw Ivanka's post and retweeted it.

However, this did not stop Twitter users from calling out Ivanka over her blunder. Some were not happy when Ivanka didn’t correct the mistake or delete the post days after Tiffany’s birthday.

"Wait. You left this up. You didn't delete it. Wow, you must hate @TiffanyATrump," one commented.

"Seriously you don't even know your sister's [account]? Then again you're probably not privy to her email or home address either," another posted.

"Oops! Tiffany is still invisible to them even after she attempted to solidify her worship for her gravy train by going maskless, risking her own health and that of her 'loved ones' at the first debate to appease Orange Daddy," a third netizen wrote.

Others, meanwhile, didn't approve of the photo Ivanka chose to use in her birthday greeting for her sister. In the shot, a much younger Ivanka is Tiffany and the latter appears to be upset over something.

"On HER birthday you couldn’t find a cuter picture of HER instead of the one of her begging to get out of your arms while you admire yourself??? ... just wondering," one netizen wrote.

But some chose to appreciate Ivanka's message for Tiffany on her special day.

"It’s wonderful to see the love among all the siblings," one commented.

Meanwhile, an anti-Trump social media platform Meidas Touch slammed Tiffany earlier this week for throwing a lavish birthday party in Miami over the weekend despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

On Thursday, she also hosted a $25,000-a-head "dessert" reception for her father’s campaign at the Doral, Page Six reported.
