Liv (Rose McIver) isn’t the only one who’s getting a new love interest in Season 3 of “iZombie.”

In a recent interview with TV Guide, executive producer Rob Thomas revealed that Liv’s former fiancée, Major (Robert Buckley), will also find himself in new romantic relationship this season. But unlike Liv, Major is getting two new love interests.

“It's not just one. He has a couple love interests,” Thomas said. “One that I would describe as healthy. One that I would describe as unhealthy. One will be a blast from the past. One will be introduced this season.”

While Major doesn’t fall short in the romance department in the new season, his life in general is far from perfect, as he needs to deal with the crimes the public thinks he committed as the Chaos Killer.

“Holy smokes. It’s not something that Major is going to escape easily,” Buckley said (via Nerdist). “It’s not like a bad haircut people are going to forget about. A large amount of the population thinks he’s in fact a serial killer. And even if he’s not a killer, he’s someone who kidnapped people and destroyed families and homes.”

“That is something that will impact every aspect of his life,” Buckley continued. “That is something that he will be struggling with a lot this season. He really hasn’t had much of a life. … He has no real personal life outside of a couple of friends. He’s trying to find who Major is again.”

As part of that journey, Major accepts a job offer from Fillmore Graves Enterprises, where he surprisingly finds acceptance.

“iZombie” Season 3, episode 1, titled “Heaven Just Got a Little Smoother,” premieres on Tuesday, April 4 at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
