'Jane The Virgin' Season 2, Episode 5 Spoilers: Britney Spears Invades The Marbella

Next week on “Jane The Virgin,” one of the biggest guest stars of the season finally makes an appearance. Pop superstar Britney spears makes her presence felt at the Marbella Hotel, but Jane’s dad Rogelio dela Vega (Jaime Camil) isn’t pleased.

According to the Episode 5 (Chapter 27) trailer shared by The CW, Britney will be appearing as herself. She will be coming to perform at the Marbella Hotel, and Jane is completely delighted to meet one of her teenage idols. Unfortunately, Rogelio isn’t too happy to have another superstar around.

He is seen having a confrontation with her in the trailer and he eventually gets dragged out by security. Meanwhile, Jane gets up close and personal with Britney and the two of them have a “Toxic” dance-off.

According to the synopsis shared by TV Guide, it’s not only Rogelio and Britney who will be feuding in the upcoming episode. Michael (Brett Dier) will get into trouble at work, due to his conflict with Rafael (Justin Baldoni). It may be remembered that there’s a possibility that Rafael heard Michael’s confession that he let his former partner, Nadine, escape. He let her run when he found out that she was working for Sin Rostro.

Elsewhere, Alba finally tries to get her citizenship but Xiomara's past comes back to haunt her. Meanwhile, Petra considers Milos’ marriage proposal.
