Jenelle Evans’ Drama With Nathan Griffith Continues; ‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Ordered To Pay Child Support

Jenelle Evans and Nathan Griffith may have come to a custody agreement regarding their son Kaiser, but child support seems to be a sticking point. One week after figuring out their 23-month-old son’s schedule, Jenelle has revealed her ex-fiancé and “Teen Mom 2” co-star was upset by the court’s child support orders.

Jenelle, 24, and Nathan appeared in a North Carolina courtroom Thursday to discuss child support terms. Evans told Radar Online her ex asked the judge if he could pay $100 month as opposed to the amount presented to him and appeared “irritated” when his request went unfulfilled.

“He has to pay $311 plus child support payments from back when I filed, which is March,” Jenelle, who was seen smiling and holding hands with boyfriend David Eason outside court, told the site. She shared that her ex’s income comes from MTV and that he used to receive disability payments as a veteran.

Jenelle and Nathan came to a joint custody agreement over Kaiser last month. The agreement, which was reached via mediation, allows Nathan to see his son every other weekend with Jenelle being the primary caregiver. At the time, Radar Online reported that a judge had yet to sign off on their decision.

While Jenelle has won the battle, she hasn’t won the war. She is due back in court on July 5 to fight her mother, Barbara Evans, for custody of her 6-year-old son Jace. Jenelle, who welcomed Jace with ex-boyfriend Andrew Lewis, signed over her rights to him in 2010. Jenelle has discussed taking her mother to court for custody for several seasons of the MTV docuseries and is frequently shown arguing with her over the boy’s living arrangements.

And while Jenelle previously revealed she is planning to seek full custody of her son, she may be facing an uphill battle. A recent episode of “Teen Mom 2” showed Jace complaining to Barbara that Jenelle doesn’t like when he’s around.

“They’re always complaining about me being there,” Jace said of his mother and David. “Mommy wants to sleep all day. They’re sleeping all the time.” Jenelle has since responded to her son’s claims on Twitter, saying he doesn’t always tell the truth.
